The effect of organizational knowledge creation on organizational adaptive capacity
Case study: employees of University of Tabriz
Abstract
Nowadays, organizations success depends on their ability to adapt to the changing environmental factors. In other words change in today’s world is rapid and successful adaptation is an important part of success in today’s era. Accordingly, adaptability capacity is increasingly being attended to because the fundamental principles of the mentioned notion are advice taking, assessing and responding to internal and external changes. It is obvious that organizational adaptability capacity in academic organizations is promoted when there is a knowledge creation spirit among employees. Therefore the main goal of this study is to investigate the effect of knowledge creation on organizational adaptive capacity. The research method used is survey and the research tool is questionnaire and statistical population involves 716 of Tabriz University employees in the year 1391, from which 239 are selected by Kukran formula and classified random sampling relative to class levels. According to regression analysis results the impacts of socialization, composition, and internalization of knowledge constructs aspects on independent variable (organizational adaptability capacity) are significant and these variables could explain 59% of variations.
