In this paper, using the quantitative and qualitative methods, the demographic characteristics and street children work have been investigated. This study is part of a rapid assessment and response study in 6 cities of the country, which was conducted in Kermanshah, Iran in 1994-1996 in two qualitative and quantitative phases. In the qualitative section with targeted sampling, 19 individual interviews with key information and 9 group discussions were conducted using semi-structured questionnaires with street children. Then, in the quantitative section after identifying 54 children street hangouts, through time-space sampling, using a questionnaire, 64 street children were gathered in their hangouts. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyze data in the qualitative section. Results showed that street children in Kermanshah are mostly boys (92.2%), and in terms of national-ethnic composition, they are all Iranian and belong to the three tribes of Lak, Koli, and Kurd. Most street children (81.3%) live in families and relatives, but about half of parents have divorced parents (26.6%) or one of them died (28%). Fathers are often illiterate (20.3%) or less literate (79.7%), and about 78% of them are unemployed. Addiction is one of the most common problems among the families of these children, and about 70% of fathers are the current or past consumer of drug. Also, about 60 percent of children are out of school, and often pay for small businesses such as handicrafts (86 percent), but about 36 percent of children are busy collecting waste. The most important cause of working for children is family support (70%), family coercion (68%), and orphanity (14%). These children are facing a number of problems on the street, the most common of which are cold and extreme heat, hunger and insults, and beatings from the policemen and the public. Kermanshah street children belong to families with very poor socio-economic conditions. Considering the basic and essential needs of these families and the reduction and control of the status of addiction and unemployment of family households, it seems necessary to reduce the work of children in the street. In addition, there are centers for children to use hot food and frost protection during the day. In addition, prevention of undesirable behavior by child-rearing agents is also needed to improve conditions for children on the street.}, keywords = {Child Labor,Iran,Kermanshah,Rapid Situational Assessment,Street Children}, title_fa = {ویژگی‌های جمعیتی-اجتماعی کودکان خیابانی و عوامل مرتبط با خیابانی‌شدن آن‌ها: مطالعة ارزیابی سریع وضعیت در کرمانشاه}, abstract_fa = {کودکان خیابانی در شهر کرمانشاه مانند کودکان بسیاری از مراکز استان‌های کشور به کار و زندگی می‌پردازند. برای ایجاد هر تغییری در وضعیت این کودکان نخست باید به ارزیابی این وضعیت و عوامل مرتبط با خیابانی‌شدن آن‌ها پرداخت. در این پژوهش کمی و کیفی، ویژگی‌های جمعیت‌شناختی و کار کودکان خیابانی بررسی شده است. این پژوهش بخشی از مطالعة ارزیابی سریع در شش شهر کشور است که در سال 1395-1396 در دو فاز کیفی و کمی در شهر کرمانشاه انجام شد. در بخش کیفی با نمونه‌گیری هدفمند، 19 مصاحبة فردی با مطلعان کلیدی و 9 بحث گروهی با استفاده از پرسشنامه‌های نیمه‌ساختاریافته با کودکان خیابانی صورت گرفت. سپس در بخش کمی، پس از شناسایی 54 پاتوق خیابانی کار کودکان با استفاده از نمونه‌گیری زمان-مکان و پرسشنامه، اطلاعات 64 کودک خیابانی در پاتوق‌های کار کودکان در خیابان جمع‌آوری شد. به‌منظور تحلیل داده‌ها در بخش کیفی از تحلیل محتوای کیفی استفاده شد. نتایج نشان می‌دهد کودکان خیابانی شهر کرمانشاه عمدتاً پسر (2/92 درصد) و از نظر ترکیب ملیتی-قومی همگی ایرانی هستند که به سه قوم لک، کولی و کرد تعلق دارند. اغلب کودکان خیابانی (3/81 درصد) نزد خانواده و بستگان زندگی می‌کنند. حدود نیمی از این والدین طلاق گرفته‌اند (6/26 درصد) یا یکی از آن‌ها فوت شده‌ است (28 درصد). پدران بیشتر این کودکان بی‌سواد (3/20 درصد) یا کم‌سواد (7/79 درصد) هستند و حدود 78 درصد آن‌ها بیکارند. اعتیاد از مشکلات شایع میان خانواده‌های این کودکان است و حدود 70 درصد پدران، مصرف‌کنندة فعلی یا قبلی مواد بوده‌اند. همچنین حدود 60 درصد کودکان تحصیل نمی‌کنند و بیشتر به مشاغل خرد مانند دست‌فروشی (86 درصد) می‌پردازند، اما حدود 36 درصد آنان به جمع‌آوری ضایعات مشغول‌اند. مهم‌ترین دلیل کارکردن کودکان، کمک به معیشت خانواده (70 درصد)، اجبار خانواده (68 درصد) و بی‌سرپرستی (14 درصد) است. این کودکان در معرض مشکلات متعددی در خیابان قرار دارند که شایع‌ترین آن تحمل سرما و گرمای شدید، گرسنگی و توهین و کتک‌خوردن از مأموران و مردم است. کودکان خیابانی کرمانشاه به خانواده‌هایی با شرایط بسیار نامطلوب اجتماعی-اقتصادی تعلق دارند. توجه به نیازهای اولیه و ضروری این خانواده‌ها و کاهش و کنترل وضعیت اعتیاد و بیکاری سرپرستان خانواده، برای کاهش کار کودکان در خیابان ضروری به‌نظر می‌رسد. به‌علاوه وجود مراکزی که کودکان در طول روز برای استفاده از غذای گرم و محافظت از سرما به آن مراجعه کنند، همچنین ممانعت از برخوردهای نامطلوب مأموران جمع‌آوری با کودکان از موارد لازم برای بهبود شرایط کودکان خیابانی است.}, keywords_fa = {ارزیابی سریع وضعیت,ایران,کار کودک,کرمانشاه,کودکان خیابانی}, url = {https://jisr.ut.ac.ir/article_70917.html}, eprint = {https://jisr.ut.ac.ir/article_70917_ca3406fb3a9ef60480f996fb3e9828d9.pdf} }
